WHAT WE TEACH

 

As a division of SITYODTONG, USA the primary art taught at KID POWER MARTIAL ARTS is AUTHENTIC MUAY THAI. The program also includes Sports Fitness and Mixed Martial Arts. Referred to as MMA, Mixed Martial Arts is the blending of Muay Thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Wresting. The training focuses on the Fitness, Technical and Self Defense aspect of these sports.

MUAY THAI

MUAY THAI translated, means “Thai Boxing”. It is the national sport of Thailand and an ancient martial art. It is known as the science of 8 limbs to punch, kick, knee and elbow. Although Muay Thai s an internationally acclaimed ring sport, many train for fitness and self defense.

Kru Walter

Kru Walter trained and fought in Thailand and retired with 8 Championship Belts.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai is rooted in culture and tradition. It teaches respect for one’s self and for others.

SHAOLIN KENPO KARATE
is also taught at KID POWER MARTIAL ARTS

    The emphasis is on the “Basics” focusing on strength, power and accuracy. Rank advancement through belt promotion enables children to set and reach attainable goals.

    • Translated, KARATE means, “empty hand.”

    KARATE is a system of martial arts that dates back to Japan and Okinawa.

    KENPO is a Chinese style of Karate founded by Professor William Chow whose family’s lineage dates back to the Shaolin Temple.
